When you're feeling down or hopeless it can be hard to get motivated to do anything. If you want to consciously change direction, and be more happy and confident, you can do positive things like:
- Hug someone you love.
- Write a poem.
- Sing a song.
- Help someone out in some way.
- Learn something new.
- Tell someone how much they mean to you.
- Take one small step toward your dreams.
- Make a list of the wonderful things about you.
- Think of all the ways you can enjoy life.
- Picture yourself being happy.
Think of all the opportunities you have to be positive, the list is endless and you get to choose where you'll start. You don't have to do fifty things at once, just pick one and work on it until you see the results, then move on to the next; over time, you'll be much happier.
